Job Description

Job Summary:

A leading manufacturer is seeking a The Paint Shop Quality Engineer (QC Inspector) will be responsible for ensuring all paint processes and products meet defined quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves performing inspections, monitoring paint tests, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in the paint shop.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct daily inspections as per drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. 2. Participate in daily morning meetings and plan inspection activities as per PPC/ST requirements. 3. Perform before, during, and after-painting spot checks. 4. Conduct customer inspections and prepare daily inspection reports. 5. Ensure calibration of instruments before use. 6. Respond promptly to quality-related issues and ensure ERP entries and inspection tracker updates. 7. Identify and report paint defects and aesthetic deviations. 8. Maintain inspection documentation and follow QMS procedures. 9. Support CAPA and 8D analysis. 10. Coordinate with internal teams to maintain quality standards and prevent non-conformities.
