The QC Executive will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials at the Livspace Bangalore (Soukya) warehouse meet prescribed quality standards, correct specifications, and packaging SOPs. The role involves thorough inspection of wall panels, tiles, lighting products, and other interior materials to maintain high fulfilment accuracy and customer satisfaction. The QC Executive will coordinate closely with warehouse, procurement, and installation teams to prevent defects, reduce return rates, and maintain inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inward Quality Check
- Perform detailed inspection of incoming materials (wall panels, louvers, PVC sheets, tiles, lights, hardware, etc.).

2. Outward Quality Check
- Conduct final QC before material dispatch for customer projects.

. - Inspect goods for any visible defects before dispatch and ensure appropriate packing as per SOPs (edge protection, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, corner guards, etc.).
- Ensure correct tagging, labeling, and documentation for dispatch.
- Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure error-free shipments.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate logs of all inward and outward QC checks.
- Update QC dashboards, daily reports, rejection records, damage logs, and replacement requests.
- Ensure that GRNs, NCRs, and DOs are documented thoroughly.
- Provide feedback and data to category, supply, and vendor teams for quality improvement.
4. Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Follow Livspace QC standards, material handling SOPs, and warehouse safety protocols.
- Recommend improvements in packaging, handling, and storage to minimise damage.
- Participate in periodic audits and contribute to root-cause analysis for repeated defects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate (Diploma/ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or related fields is a plus)
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse QC, material handling, or quality inspection—preferably in interior products, building materials, or e-commerce fulfilment
- Ability to read SKU sheets, BOQs, and basic technical drawings
- Attention to detail with strong observation skills
- Good documentation and reporting abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse systems (WMS) is an advantage.
