Role Overview

QA/QC professional

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop and implement the

  Quality Assurance Plan

  and procedures for projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to establish QA requirements.
  
• Conduct training and awareness sessions on

  quality standards and best practices

  .
• Coordinate with project/site teams to ensure adherence to QA policies.
  

Quality Control (QC):

• Inspect and monitor all site activities to ensure compliance with

  approved drawings, standards, and specifications

  .
• Carry out material inspection and testing (concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.).
  
• Maintain and verify calibration records for testing equipment.
  
• Ensure proper documentation of

  inspection reports, test results, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions

  .

Coordination & Compliance:

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies for inspections and approvals.
  
• Support audits and ensure compliance with

  ISO standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements

  .
• Maintain updated QA/QC records for handing over projects.
  
• Assist in continuous improvement by identifying quality issues and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  construction materials, testing methods, and quality standards (IS codes, ASTM, BS, etc.)

  .
• Familiarity with

  ISO 9001 QMS

  and industry QA/QC practices.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage site quality challenges.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Experience:

  4-8 years in QA/QC within the

  construction / EPC / infrastructure industry

  .
• Certifications in

  Quality Management / ISO / Six Sigma

  will be an added advantage.
