currently looking for a seasoned Shipbuilding Engineer to take on the role of Head QA/QC (Shipbuilding) at the DGM/GM level. Salary: 1.5 Lacs to INR 2 Lacs. Qualification: BE/BTech degree along with 20-25 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years specifically within shipbuilding. Alternatively, a Diploma with 25-30 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 10 years in shipbuilding. Job Descriptions: A Quality Control/Assurance (QA/QC) Head in shipbuilding plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of vessels throughout their construction, from initial design to final delivery. This pivotal position involves developing and implementing quality control systems, leading the QC team, and guaranteeing adherence to both industry standards and client specifications. The primary responsibilities of a QA/QC Head include: * Developing and Implementing QA?QC Systems: Establishing comprehensive quality control processes and frameworks that are consistently applied during every stage of shipbuilding. * Managing the QC Team: Providing leadership and direction to the quality control team, enabling them to perform their duties effectively. * Ensuring Adherence to Standards and Requirements: Verifying that all construction activities are in full compliance with relevant industry regulations and the specific needs of our clients.* Knowledge in WPS, PQR, WQT review and prepare as per code * Knowledge of standards and codes in welding inspection like ASME sec IX, VIII div 1, sec II A & C, B31.3, AWS D 1.1, API1104, BS EN, ASTM, etc. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹1,820,000.00 - ₹2,420,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
