QA/QC Engineer

Job Summary: We seek a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality standards in residential construction projects. The role involves inspecting, testing, and reporting to maintain compliance with specifications, codes, and safety norms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance & Control

- Conduct inspections (site, materials, workmanship) as per approved plans.

- Verify structural, MEP, and finishing works (concrete, masonry, plumbing, electrical).

- Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC, and project specifications.

2. Testing & Documentation

- Coordinate lab tests (concrete, soil, materials).

- Maintain quality logs, checklists, and NCRs.

- Prepare inspection reports and track corrective actions.

3. Compliance & Safety

- Enforce safety protocols (PPE, scaffolding, etc.).

- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities.

4. Project Coordination

- Monitor construction progress vs. timelines.

- Identify risks and suggest mitigation.

5. Team Collaboration

- Guide site staff on QC procedures.

- Assist in training and audits.

6. Reporting

- Submit weekly/monthly reports to management.

Requirements- Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil/Construction), preferably with a QA/QC

- Experience: 5–10 years in residential real estate (multi-story/large projects).

- Skills:

- Knowledge of construction processes, quality tools (6 Sigma, Lean).

- AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Location: Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate.

- Joining: Immediate (max. 15 days’ notice).

- Language: Fluent English, Tamil preferred.

Pay: ₹281,817.95 - ₹1,284,447.76 per year
