QA/QC Engineer

Job description

· Preparing Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) in accordance with relevant codes and standards

· Preparing Weld procedure specifications (WPS) , Procedure Qualification Records & Welder Performance Qualification Records in accordance to ASME / EN Codes

· QC Inspections in shop floor on all fabricated / Machined Items ( Stage wise & Final )

· Co-ordinate NDT activities and review RT Films and reports

· Maintain QA documents in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 QMS

· Well versed in QMS System

· Co-Ordinate with third party inspection agencies like DNV,BV,TUV & Lloyds

· Carry out all incoming inspections

· Prepare MDR for all projects

· Well versed in dimensional inspections on all heavy fabricated / Machined equipment

· Hands on experience in handling measuring instruments

· Provide training to work force

· Good knowledge in materials and welding process

· Continuous improvement focus on quality functions

· Take full in-charge of quality related functions

· Experience in ASME U Stamp /EN Pressure Vessels / Welding preferred

· Be a good team player and pro-active person

Skills

• Experienced working in a pressure vessel / heat exchangers fabrication industry as QA/QC Engineer/Inspector
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Quality field of Heavy Fabrication & Welding
• AWS or CSWIP 3.1 certified candidates are preferred

Educational Qualification : BE in Mech.Engg

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
