QA/QC Engineer

1.     Incoming Document Verification: o   Check and verify all incoming documents related to purchased materials and components. o   Ensure documents such as test certificates and Invoice notes are accurate and complete. 2.     Product Documentation Review: o   Examine product-related documents (e.g., Material Test Certificates, inspection reports, heat treatment records) to confirm compliance with purchase orders and applicable standards. 3.     Visual Inspection: o   Conduct visual checks on incoming and in-house products for surface defects, rust, damages, or any non-conformities. o   Ensure identification markings (heat numbers, sizes, standards) are correctly engraved or stamped. 4.     Dimensional Checking: o   Measure key dimensions of products such as flanges, pipe fittings, and clamps using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. o   Compare actual measurements with drawing tolerances and specifications. Skills Required: ·        Basic understanding of engineering drawings and documents. ·        Familiarity with steel grades, standards (ASTM, ASME), and forging processes. ·        Use of measuring instruments. ·        Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
