Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Trainee to join our Quality Assurance team. The selected candidate will support testing activities by identifying defects, validating new features, and ensuring the overall stability and quality of software applications. This role provides structured training and hands-on exposure, making it an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to begin a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure application stability.
• Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand functionality and requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Assist in basic automation testing activities, where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or a relevant certification in Software Testing / Quality Assurance)
• Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts including functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing practices.
