Job Description

Job Summary:

QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
Design and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and technical implementation.
Participate in agile/scrum processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, etc. (if applicable).
Ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
Suggest improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.

Required Skills :

Proven experience as a QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role.
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
