Job Description

Position Overview:

Junior QA Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to identify, document, and resolve defects.
Utilize automation tools such as
Selenium
,
Playwright
, and
Postman
to streamline and enhance testing processes.
Write and maintain automated test scripts using
Java
,
Python
, and
JavaScript
.
Perform
regression
,
functional
, and
integration
testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
Document test results, track defects, and deliver clear reporting to project stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in
Computer Science
,
Information Technology
, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1 year of experience
in QA automation testing.
Proficiency in
Java
,
Python
, and
JavaScript
for test scripting.
Hands-on experience with:
Selenium
(UI automation)
Playwright
(cross-browser testing)
Postman
(API testing)
Strong understanding of
SDLC
and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with version control systems such as
Git
.
Excellent problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and integrating automated tests into build processes.
Exposure to
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
