QA Tester Internship

Job Summary

Outmarch is a fast-growing retail startup searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a growing business. We’re specifically looking for a customer success specialist who will roll up their sleeves and lead a team from inside the trenches.

We are specifically looking for a great QA Tester who is proficient with scheduling, analyzing, and running tests on new or modified software programs, including them in the documentation, diagram, flows, and other software development procedures used to verify their proper functioning according to the requirements established.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
• Interacting with customers to understand product requirements.
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

Required Skills:

• 6 months experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Knowledge of test management software and JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with product owners, customers, designers, and developers
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
• Strong organizational skills
• BE/BCA/MCA/BSC/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
