QA Test Engineer

Job Description

JOB DETAILS: Position Title : QA Testing Engineer Job Locatio n: Remote Job Timing: 1:00 PM 10:00 PM IST Experience : 5+ Years of experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Validate application functionality post-packaging using defined test cases and real-world scenarios. Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on various OS environments (Win10/11). Perform smoke, functional, regression, and installation/uninstallation testing. Validate software compatibility with enterprise policies, antivirus, and endpoint security tools. Work with packaging engineers to troubleshoot and report issues with MSI, MSIX, App-V, or Intune packages. Collaborate with IT Support and Deployment teams to validate deployments through SCCM/Intune. Document test results, defects, and provide sign-offs. Maintain version control and package test logs for audit and compliance purposes. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Strong understanding of application packaging lifecycle and enterprise environments. Hands-on experience testing MSI, MSIX, App-V, ThinApp, or Intune Win32 apps. (we may need a bit of flexibility) Familiarity with Windows OS (10/11), Group Policies, Registry, and File System structures. Experience with SCCM, Intune, or other software deployment tools. Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect management tools like JIRA, TestRail, ALM.
