QA Automation Engineer
3+ Year Experience
We are seeking a QA software tester (automation) to join our software development team in Surat. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications and be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to ensure the quality of our software products and participate in continuous process improvement. This position is part of the growing QA jobs in Surat market.
Functional testing focuses on verifying the functional requirements of a software application, such as ensuring that all buttons and links work as expected. Non-functional testing focuses on aspects of the software that are not related to its functionality, such as performance, security, and usability.
Automation testing is a process of using tools and scripts to execute tests automatically. It helps to reduce the time and effort required for manual testing and enables the testing team to test a large number of test cases quickly and efficiently. Automation testing can be used for regression testing, load testing, and other types of testing that require a large number of repetitive tests.
Black box testing is a testing technique that focuses on the external functionality of an application without examining its internal code or structure. White box testing, on the other hand, is a testing technique that involves examining the internal code and structure of an application to identify defects and weaknesses.
There are several types of testing, including functional testing, non-functional testing, manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and usability testing. The specific types of testing that are required will depend on the nature and complexity of the software application being tested.
The role will require working closely with the development team to ensure the quality of software products and participating in continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications, a strong understanding of agile development methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
