QA QC Engineer

osition Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Control:

• Develop and implement quality management systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
  
• Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure that quality standards are met.
  
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and construction processes to confirm conformity with specified quality standards.

Testing and Inspection:

• Coordinate and supervise testing procedures for materials, soil, concrete, and other construction elements.
  
• Perform inspections on-site to ensure construction processes are following the established standards.
  
• Ensure proper documentation of testing results, inspection reports, and quality audits.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances.
  
• Prepare and present quality control reports and analysis to management and project stakeholders.
  
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with the construction process or materials.

Quality Control Systems:

• Review and monitor project-specific quality control plans, ensuring all procedures align with the contract specifications and industry standards.
  
• Assist in developing corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
  
• Work with suppliers to ensure that materials used in construction meet the required quality standards.

Continous Improvement:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the construction phase.
  
• Provide guidance and support to the construction team on quality-related matters.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in QAQC in civil engineering or construction projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards and civil engineering processes.
  
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  
• Experience with material testing methods, inspection processes, and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
  
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
