Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction quality compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The ideal candidate will conduct inspections, monitor material quality, document findings, and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site quality inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and regulatory standards.

• Prepare and maintain daily checklists for incoming materials, ensuring conformity with approved standards.

• Perform visual inspections of construction work, including concrete finishing, steel reinforcement, and structural integrity.

• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from project requirements and recommend corrective measures.

• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely rectification.

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.

• Monitor and enforce quality control procedures throughout the construction process. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices.

• Assist in internal and external quality audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).

• Proficiency in preparing inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance documentation. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with contractors and project teams.

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus. Preferred Experience: • Experience in [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects.

• Familiarity with quality control software/tools. Work Environment:

• Site-based role with occasional office reporting.

• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours if required.
