Company : Nomis Website : https://nomissolutions.com/ Job Description: QA Lead We are seeking a highly skilled QA Leader to join our team in Bengaluru. Candidate should be ready to WFH in Hybrid model. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead QA Strategy and Execution Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy for all products, focusing on continuous improvement and quality assurance across the entire software development lifecycle. Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for both manual and automated tests. Ensure that automated testing is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for both products, driving efficient and timely releases 2. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support they need to succeed. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture focused on delivering high-quality software. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. 3. Test Automation & Tooling: Own and drive the automation strategy, ensuring that automation is effectively implemented using Selenium and/or Cypress with Cucumber BDD style Ensure that automation coverage is continuously improved and that automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and scalable. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing frameworks, tools, and processes. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, define test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Act as a quality advocate, driving a culture of quality throughout the organization. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align on quality expectations and objectives. 5. Quality Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key quality metrics (test coverage, defect leakage etc.) to measure the success of QA efforts and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reporting on test results, defect trends, and overall product quality to leadership. 6. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to test automation and QA methodologies. Identify opportunities to enhance the testing process, improve automation efficiency, and reduce manual testing efforts. Key Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ Yrs of Experience in Software quality Assurance with atleast 2+ yrs team leadership role Proven experience in automation testing with JavaScript and Cypress along with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Nightwatch. Proven experience in automation testing with Java Selenium Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in preparing Test plan and execute that for each release. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Certifications in automation testing tools/frameworks are desirable but not required. Proven experience in manual testing methodologies, including BDD and TDD. Strong proficiency in writing NoSQL queries for database testing and validation for MongoDB. Working knowledge on AWS EC2, ECS, Code pipeline, Jenkins, Bitbucket, git repository, Jira, Confluence. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software Good to have: Experience working in the fintech or financial services domain is a plus, but not required.
