As a QA Lead in Pune, your responsibilities will include leading and managing the QA team. You should have extensive experience in Web-based micro-services and Postman Automation. Your duties will involve conducting API Automation testing using Postman/Rest Assured, implementing hands-on BDD framework using cucumber, and applying working experience on Java oops concept. Additionally, you should possess basic knowledge of the CI/CD pipeline and work in cross-functional delivery teams. Demonstrating extensive knowledge of Manual Testing and having basic knowledge of any database like SQL / Postgres are crucial aspects of this role. Utilizing knowledge of any testing framework tool like TestNG, gathering requirements, preparing/updating the Test Plan/Test Matrix, and showing acumen to identify issues at the beginning of the Development life cycle are also key responsibilities. Being fully well-versed with testing methodologies and working on them independently, having good knowledge of the Atlassian toolchain such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, understanding tools like Bitbucket and GITLAB, demonstrating excellent communication skills and self-initiative to communicate and collaborate freely with onsite and offsite counterparts, being aware of scrum ceremonies in the Agile model, conducting Selenium web driver/UI testing, and performing performance testing using JMeter and Jenkin are essential tasks for this position.
