As a QA Team Lead located in Pune, your primary responsibilities will include leading and managing the QA team. You should have extensive experience in Web-based micro-services and Postman Automation, with a focus on API Automation testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured. It is essential to be proficient in BDD framework using cucumber and have a solid understanding of Java oops concepts. You will be expected to possess basic knowledge of the CI/CD pipeline and work effectively in cross-functional delivery teams. Your expertise in Manual Testing, along with familiarity with databases like SQL/Postgres and testing framework tools such as TestNG, will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your ability to gather requirements, prepare/update Test Plans/Test Matrix, and identify issues early in the Development life cycle will be highly valued. Proficiency in testing methodologies, along with experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, bitbucket, and GITLAB is necessary. Strong communication skills and the initiative to collaborate with onsite and offsite counterparts are essential. An awareness of scrum ceremonies in the Agile model, as well as experience with Selenium web driver/UI testing and performance testing using tools like JMeter and Jenkin, will be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this position is a graduate in BE, B. Tech, or M. Tech from Tier-1/Tier-2 colleges with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.
