QA - Junior

As a Junior QA Engineer at Saleshandy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and reliable functioning of our software products. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases for web applications and APIs. You will also be tasked with automating test cases using tools like Cypress or Playwright to enhance the efficiency and reliability of testing processes. Your key duties will involve performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify and address issues before they impact users. You will collaborate closely with developers to track and resolve bugs efficiently using JIRA. Additionally, you will be responsible for validating database queries and API responses through tools such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Postman. Integration of automated tests using CI/CD tools to facilitate seamless deployments will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should ideally possess 1-2 years of hands-on experience in QA testing. A solid understanding of web application and API testing is essential, and familiarity with Cypress or Playwright would be advantageous. Proficiency in writing database queries, using JIRA for bug tracking, and conducting API testing with Postman are preferred skills.
