Job Title: Quality Assurance (Q/A) Head Location: Prithla, Palwal, Haryana Experience: 10+ years in heavy and medium-heavy sheet metal fabrication Industry: Fabrication / Engineering / Manufacturing Reporting to: Plant Head / Director Salary: Up to 1 lac Company Overview: A leading fabrication unit specializing in heavy and medium-heavy sheet metal fabrications and welded assemblies, working with reputed clients like Kubota, ManiTou, and other export clients. Our facility is equipped with advanced cutting technologies such as Laser, Plasma, and Oxy-fuel cutting systems. We are looking for a Production & Planning Manager who can take ownership of our cutting and fabrication operations end-to-end & raw material planning. Role Overview: The Q/A Head will be responsible for ensuring that all processes and products meet required quality standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of QMS, fabrication, weld inspection. The role also requires leadership over Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Assurance & QMS ¢ Lead and implement Quality Management. Ensure compliance with client-specific standards and industry regulations. Manage the inspection of sheet metal parts, weld assemblies, and final components. Oversee in-process and final quality checks and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances. 2. Project & RSQ Component Handling

¢ When receiving new projects, analyse the RSQ (Regulatory, Safety, and Quality) components thoroughly. ¢ ¢ Conduct feasibility studies to assess manufacturability, design, and quality risks. Liaise with the customers technical teams for clarification, approvals, and validation. 3. Welding & Assembly Understanding ¢ ¢ ¢ Review and validate welding designs, symbols, and process sequences. Ensure weld quality inspections are conducted with appropriate standards. Assist in the development of welding fixtures and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 4. Client Communication & Professionalism ¢ ¢ ¢ Professionally represent the company during audits, client visits, and technical discussions. Exhibit good body language, communication skills, and the ability to confidently explain technical aspects to clients. Maintain documentation, reports, and traceability records as per customer and regulatory standards. Key Requirements: ¢ ¢ B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in sheet metal fabrication and welding assemblies. ¢ ¢ Proven expertise in QMS, welding inspections, tooling design, and quality systems. Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility, GD&T, welding symbols, and design analysis. ¢ ¢ Hands-on experience in toolroom management and design interpretation. Proficiency in drafting tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar. Preferred Attributes:

¢ ¢ Certifications in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS, etc.) will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. A strong sense of ownership, discipline, and attention to detail.
