QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at PwC's Acceleration Center in Bangalore, you will be a part of the Technology and Data Solutions practice within Deals Transaction Services. Your role will involve designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software products. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, log, and track bugs, and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. - Identify, log, and track bugs in collaboration with developers and product teams. - Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements. - Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing. - Set up and maintain test environments and automation frameworks. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release processes. - Continuously improve testing strategies and tools for better efficiency and coverage. - Provide clear documentation of defects, test results, and overall product quality. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing. - Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Experience with performance testing using Jmeter or similar tools. - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. - Experience with SQL.
