QA Engineer

Job Title:

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
• Develop and apply testing processes for both new and existing products.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and validate system requirements.
• Monitor debugging processes and ensure effective resolution.
• Investigate causes of software issues and assist in implementing solutions.
• Track and report QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in black box testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in API testing (Postman preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium required).
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good to have: experience with Test Management tools (e.g., Tricentis).
