QA Engineer

As a member of a Large Global Organization, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough manual and functional testing of web applications and APIs at various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for both UI and API layers, utilizing tools like Tosca, Selenium, or Cypress. It will also be your duty to evaluate and recommend test automation tools and frameworks that are in alignment with the Woodduck tech stack and integration points, including systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Pricing Analytics. In this role, you will document and execute detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of application functionality. You will utilize test management tools such as JIRA and ALM for tracking and reporting testing progress. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing APIs and/or Web Services using tools like Postman, Soap UI, or similar applications. Your ability to maintain a strong attention to detail, exhibit critical thinking skills, and effectively work under pressure with minimal supervision will be crucial. Furthermore, effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with team members and stakeholders will play a significant role in ensuring successful testing processes. The ideal candidate for this position must possess strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs, along with proficiency in automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Tosca, or Cypress. A good understanding of functional testing methodologies to validate business requirements is essential, as well as familiarity with JavaScript for writing automation scripts and enhancing test cases. Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI is also required, along with working knowledge of test management platforms like JIRA, ALM, or similar tools. Moreover, exposure to integration points with enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, or pricing analytics tools is preferred. The ability to design scalable test frameworks and recommend tools suitable for evolving tech stacks, coupled with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and attention to detail, will be highly valued. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Education requirements for this role include Any Graduation or Any Post Graduation in Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science and Automation, or Computer Science and Information Security.,
