QA Engineer (Automation) – Short-Term Project (3–6 Months)

• Experience:* 2–4 years years experience in automation testing using Python & Playwright mandatory*

• Job Type: Contract / Project-Based (3–6 months)

We are hiring a QA Engineer for a short-term automation project. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing, specifically using Python and Playwright, along with a solid grasp of testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience in Python-based automation testing
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright (Python)
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and DOM structure for debugging
• Strong understanding of testing concepts and test case design
• Proficiency with Git and basic shell/batch scripting
• Logical thinker with good debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with custom frameworks
• Exposure to Pytest, API testing, and test reporting tools like Allure
• Agile/Scrum project experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop automated test scripts using Playwright (Python)
• Maintain and enhance a custom test automation framework (Python, HTML, CSS)
• Execute automated test cases for regression and release cycles
• Collaborate with QA team for test planning and coverage
• Work with tools like GitHub and Jenkins for integration and deployment

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Python-based automation testing: 2 years (Required)
• Developing automated test scripts using Playwright: 2 years (Required)
