Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for native and hybrid mobile applications (Android/iOS).

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tool like Appium.

Conduct API testing as part of end-to-end validation of mobile workflows.

Contributing to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.

Assisting in root cause analysis and providing detailed documentation of defects and test results.

Supporting test execution in CI/CD environments and integrating test automation into pipelines.

Knowledge on ticket tools such as JIRA must.

Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.

Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.

Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required.

Analysing trends of bugs and getting them fixed.

Be aware of product updates, ux trends and new technologies.

Use multiples platforms like JIRA, Git, AWS, Jenkins, firebase, Grafana etc.

Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers and other team members.

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines.

Technical Skills and Experience

Tech graduates with 3 to 4 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with Appium
Proficient in any scripting language: Java, Python, JavaScript
Experience in testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
Strong knowledge of mobile testing strategies, UI interactions, and device-specific behaviours.
Good understanding of ADB commands, simulators, emulators, and real-device testing.
Exposure to mobile performance and crash analysis tools.
Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack.
Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.
Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility accountability
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with Best Practices in Test Automation

BTech, BE, MCA or higher
