Description
As a Quality Engineer at SAP, you will play a crucial role in deploying, configuring, developing, and testing automated regression for enterprise-level applications on Linux and Windows platforms. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of the application, troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as developing and implementing new test cases and regression while providing ongoing support for existing regression. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to learn quickly and work independently. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the product at both functional and technical levels, collaborate with the Development team and other Quality Specialists, and participate in STS reviews to enhance development processes and practices. Your educational background should include a university degree or equivalent, coupled with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Linux and familiarity with SQL databases. Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, or START would be advantageous, as well as exposure to Jenkins and JIRA/X-Ray integration. Excellent communication skills, analytical prowess, and a commitment to quality are essential attributes for success in this role.
