As a Quality Engineer at SAP, you will play a crucial role in deploying, configuring, developing, and testing automated regression for enterprise-level applications on Linux and Windows platforms. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of the application, troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as developing and implementing new test cases and regression while providing ongoing support for existing regression. Your educational background should include a university degree or equivalent, coupled with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Linux and familiarity with SQL databases. Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, or START would be advantageous, as well as exposure to Jenkins and JIRA/X-Ray integration. Role & responsibilities Hands on experience in configuring/managing Linux Environments. Strong understanding of product architecture, backend product installation and cloud infrastructure. Hands on Experience with cloud environments such as AWS. Should be able to work with databases (For ex- MySQL, Mariadb).Understanding of data modeling and querying. Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins). Basic Knowledge of DevsecOps pipeline and tools (e.g.. Sonarqube, Checkmarx). Basic knowledge of python (for e.g.. running of scripts, basic troubleshooting) Should be able to do product installation from scratch once the guideline document is provided
