QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Amplifi Capital (U.K.) Limited, you will be an integral part of the team working on an innovative open banking platform that aims to transform the financial industry. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our solutions to provide a seamless financial experience for our users. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with quality standards. - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts for our in-house loans and savings platform. - Support integration testing to seamlessly incorporate third-party components into our financial ecosystem. - Optimize and refactor existing automation scripts to enhance efficiency and performance. - Identify, document, and track defects and system issues, working proactively to ensure resolution. - Perform end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and Salesforce applications to maintain product quality. - Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts to drive efficiency and improve testing accuracy. **Qualifications Required:** - 2 to 5 years of experience in QA Testing. - Proficiency in Automation tools like Java, Selenium, Jmeter. - Experience with Robot framework and IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code. - Familiarity with project/test management tool JIRA and AIO. - Proficient in designing & documenting software test cases and automated scripts in languages like JAVA or Python. - Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment. - Cross-browser/cross-platform testing. **Desirable Skills and Experience:** - Experienced with writing queries using MySQL. - Familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, and BrowserStack. - Follows best practices and testing standards. - Experience in performance, load, and stress testing. - Security testing experience. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Scientific, IT Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or Mathematical degree. **Technology Stack:** - Languages: Java, Python, SQL - Framework: Robot Framework, Appium - OS and Servers: Linux, Windows, Apache - Databases/Storage: MySQL 8.0 - Tools: Jenkins, Docker, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Maven - Working with APIs, microservices, and transformations.
