Job Description

Job Title: QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in applying QA methodologies to ensure product quality and deliver optimal results within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply appropriate QA methodologies (Agile/DevOps) to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Review software requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and scenarios.
Design, prioritize, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.
Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct usability testing and verify product functionality and performance.
Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and analysis of defects.
Understand new product features thoroughly and devise effective test strategies accordingly.
Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to testing challenges and process inefficiencies.

Educational Qualifications (Mandatory):

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
Certification in Software Testing (Mandatory).
Basic understanding of:

Web and mobile application testing
Programming (Java or JavaScript)
SQL and database fundamentals (Preferred)

Desired & Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB Certification is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and MySQL databases.
Good communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
