Job Description

Job Overview

Create detailed and structured test cases, test scenarios, and documentation
Perform manual testing to identify defects, gaps, and inconsistencies
Log and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools
Execute API testing using tools like Postman (basic to intermediate level)
Collaborate with developers, BA, and QA teams for issue resolution and requirement clarification
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Analyze requirements to identify test conditions and ensure full coverage
Document test results and maintain proper testing records.

Required Skills:

6 months to 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
Ability to design clear and effective test cases
Basic to intermediate experience in API testing (Postman preferred)
Basic knowledge of SQL queries for backend/database validation
Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setup.

Nice to Have:
Exposure to basic automation tools or scripting (optional).
