Role & responsibilities

• Build and maintain Playwright automation using TypeScript (POM & fixtures).
• Automate Salesforce UI flows and relevant API interactions.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and ensure parallel runs.
• Troubleshoot failures, debug with traces/network tools, and report defects.
• Mentor junior engineers; participate in code reviews and automation strategy.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding and automation quality standards.
• Analyze automation coverage, identify gaps, and optimize test strategy.
• Ensure proper integration of API, UI, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency, reliability, and reporting.
• Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to identify automation opportunities and design robust solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

Playwright + TypeScript: Mid 2+ yrs / Senior 4+ yrs hands-on automation.

• Strong UI automation skills locators, waits, POM.
• JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency and test-design skills.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test parallelization.
• Basic API testing knowledge and web debugging tools.
• Salesforce testing experience preferred (configurable screens, LWC).
