QA Engineer - Automation

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated test scripts. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing automation test frameworks to ensure reusability and maintainability of test scripts. It is essential to stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the test automation process. You will execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement. Generating comprehensive test reports and communicating findings to the development team will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide timely feedback on quality issues. Participation in Agile/Scrum processes, providing input on testing efforts, and estimating testing tasks will also be required. You should proactively identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Contributing to the evolution of QA best practices within the organization is crucial for continuous improvement. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2-4 years of professional experience in automation testing. - Proficiency in one or more automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools. - Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
