Role Overview: As a QA Engineer with expertise in Automation & Core Banking Domain, you will be responsible for working in Core-Banking Modules, System Integration, and User Acceptance Testing. You should possess excellent Testing Skills at all levels and types of testing. Your Automation exposure should include hands-on experience in creating and working in Automation Framework for legacy core banking applications. It is advantageous to have experience in legacy Tandem Platform and exposure to the latest technologies including Java, RDBMS, and tools like IntelliJ, SQL Developer, JENKINS, Maven, etc. Your role requires a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills. You will be involved in the creation of test artifacts from initial requirements analysis to test closure adhering to industry testing standards. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the software development lifecycle for targeted Software Components and maintain code quality and test coverage following Agile practices. - Understand Core-Banking Modules and User Acceptance Testing with good business flow. - Demonstrate good Testing Skills with hands-on exposure to Test Automation. - Document and maintain all Test Evidences across System, SIT, UAT, and Business Testing. - Contribute to requirements analysis, design, Automation code reviews, and Integration testing. - Engage with technical architects, business analysts, developers, and product teams for system enhancements. - Track and report test, automation progress to Project Managers, Scrum master, system Architect, and developers. - Design and implement test architecture for test automation, monitor and improve functional performance. - Implement QA practices including test case preparation and execution, debug test scripts, and identify test cases. - Utilize tools like Cucumber, JIRA, JUnit, Maven, Selenium WebDriver, etc. for testing. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in Core Banking applications is preferable. - Quick learner with good Banking Business Flow knowledge. - Hands-on experience in Automation Framework development for complex Banking applications. - Strong adaptability to upskill in technology/tools. - Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and organizational skills. - Leadership skills and exposure to working with diverse teams worldwide.
