QA Engineer

The QA Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through thorough testing and meticulous attention to detail. Working closely with the development team, you will identify issues and ensure products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities include developing and executing test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing, documenting bugs, contributing to automation testing frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and performing regression and exploratory testing. Additionally, you will participate in product design reviews, stay updated with new testing tools and strategies, conduct performance and load testing, communicate test progress, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, proven experience in manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, proficiency in test case design and execution, expertise in automation tools like Cypress and Selenium, knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, ability to write comprehensive test plans and test cases, experience with version control systems, programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured, analytical and problem-solving skills, understanding of agile development methodologies, effective communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
