Description
As a QA Automation Testing professional at FIS, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. Your role will involve automating client UAT business scenarios, managing and supporting client regression cycles, fixing and optimizing test scripts, and executing regression runs. You will also design new frameworks/scripts, conduct root cause analysis, and present findings to operations, development, and leadership teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing proactive solutions to stabilize and expedite automation suites to enhance customer experience. Adaptation to new/niche technologies including AI tools will be necessary to boost productivity and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Automate client UAT business scenarios - Manage and support client regression cycles - Fix and optimize test scripts - Design new frameworks/scripts - Conduct root cause analysis and present findings - Implement proactive solutions to stabilize and expedite automation suites - Adapt to and learn new/niche tech including AI tools **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 4-8 years of professional working experience in Software Quality Assurance with Automation experience - Thorough working knowledge of Software Testing Concepts including Manual & Automation testing processes, test case creation and execution, defect management, estimation techniques, and metrics for reporting - Hands-on experience with Automation tools such as Selenium with .Net Framework/Java, Playright - Hands-on experience with Automation frameworks like keyword-driven etc - Hands-on experience with API testing (via Postman, Rest Assured etc) - Working knowledge of source code management software (SVN, GIT, BitBucket etc) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication - Working experience of Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN) - Exposure to Project/Defect/Test Management tools like JIRA, ALM etc - Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and guide/mentor others when needed - Desire to increase knowledge and skills when circumstances call for additional learning - Basic knowledge of SQL queries **Additional Details:** - Added bonus/secondary skills: - Knowledge of Finance domain especially Capital Markets, Lease and Loans, Lending applications - Experience of developing tools/utilities/automation from scratch using latest tech - Knowledge of Performance Testing and Automation using tools like JMeter - Knowledge of Cloud (AZURE) concepts and usage **Education Desired:** - Bachelor of Business Administration or related field Join FIS as a Test Automation resource and be a part of a client-centric testing services team dedicated to reducing manual testing effort and cycle time through automation.
