QA Automation Playwright

In this role as a QA Playwright specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of web applications. Your collaboration with developers, product owners, and QA engineers will help in understanding requirements, identifying potential issues early, and delivering high-quality test automation solutions. Your expertise in Playwright will streamline testing processes, reduce manual testing efforts, and accelerate release cycles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop test automation scripts following test automation guidelines. - Understand overall Testing process and have experience in Agile Methodology. - Participate in scrum meetings and provide insights on automation scope. - Create and maintain libraries and object repositories for the Automation Framework. - Develop and execute manual tests for areas where automated tests are not practical. - Experience in functional testing including test scenario creation, test plan development, and execution. - Experience in creating test scripts using JavaScript for API/WEB UI use cases. - Proficiency in JavaScript with a good understanding of OOPs concepts. - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools like GitLab, JIRA, etc. - Experience in testing frameworks and Agile processes. - Familiarity with JIRA and Bug management tools, integrating them with automation. - Creation and maintenance of test data for automation testing. - Design, review, and execution of Test cases/Test Scripts. - Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in system analysis and profiling tools. - Expert programming skills in JavaScript and SQL. **Qualifications Required:** - 4 to 6 years of experience in QA Automation, specifically with Playwright. - Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with OOPs concepts. - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools like GitLab, JIRA, etc. - Experience in testing frameworks and Agile processes. - Experience in setting up test benches and debugging systems. - Ability to design test and defect reporting formats. - Expertise in using system analysis and profiling tools for debugging and performance optimizations.
