QA Automation Freshers

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software testing concepts, basic automation skills, and a passion for delivering high quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright(JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across web and Mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Identify, log, track, retest, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
• Integrate and maintain automation test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report quality metrics.
• Ensure adequate test coverage for new features as well as regression-prone areas.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript
• Exposure to Playwright for end-to-end test automation through academic projects, training, or internships
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), Mocha, and Chai (hands-on learning or project experience acceptable)
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and execute test cases with attention to detail
• Strong interest in learning automation tools, frameworks, and best practices
• Understanding of test design techniques and basic automation best practices
• Familiarity with defect tracking and issue management tools like JIRA
• Basic awareness or exposure to test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr
• Good problem-solving skills and a logical approach to debugging test failures
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
