Should be having exposure for getting the details & arranging the contract signed with above suppliers. Having good exposure for procurement of packing materials e.g. corrugated boxes, Polybags Paper cores, Foam rolls, Wads etc. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes for Plastics moulding & Flexographic Printing raw materials and related supplies. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, pricing, and quality for raw materials and other components required for manufacturing. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking out new suppliers to diversify the supply chain and mitigate risks. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement to support production schedules. Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce costs. Analyze market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Manage the purchase order process from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Resolve supplier-related issues, such as quality concerns, delivery delays, or pricing discrepancies, in a timely and effective manner. Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to materials procurement and supplier management. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on purchasing activities, cost savings initiatives, and supplier performance metrics.
