Job Description

As an Automation QA at Morningstar Data for equities, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with project managers, data analysts, and developers to develop technology solutions for Equity Data collection platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining and establishing automation strategies and processes, designing and developing automation test cases, and mentoring other QAs to enhance their automation skill set. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-4 years of experience as an automation QA, with proven expertise in developing automated test systems and scripts using tools like Selenium, QTP, JUnit, or NUnit. Your in-depth understanding of white box, grey box, and black box testing techniques, along with proficiency in languages such as C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C++, and Java, will be essential. Additionally, your familiarity with object-oriented design principles, source control systems, configuration management, and SQL will contribute to delivering quality results in a dynamic business environment.
