Position:

About the Role

QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute
test plans
,
test cases
, and
automation scripts
.
Perform
manual testing
and build/maintain
automation suites
.
Test
REST APIs
and
microservices
; validate contracts, responses, and data.
Identify, log, track, and close defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
Participate in
requirement analysis
,
impact assessment
, and sprint meetings.
Validate backend data using
SQL queries
(PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle).
Prepare and publish
test reports
, ensure release sign-off.
Maintain QA documentation for
audit and compliance
requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years
of hands-on experience in QA for enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and processes
.
Experience writing
clear test plans and test cases
.
Hands-on experience with
manual testing + automation
(Selenium / PyTest / Robot Framework).
Experience in
API testing
using Postman/Swagger; Rest Assured is a plus.
Basic SQL knowledge; familiarity with
PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle
.
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
environments.
Experience using
Jira
, TestLink, or similar QA tools.
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
Nice to have:
JMeter/Gatling (performance testing).
Plus:
Programming knowledge in
Python/Java/JavaScript
.
Certification Preferred:
ISTQB or equivalent.
Domain Advantage:
Banking/Financial services testing experience.
