QA Analyst

Role Overview: You will work with the Testing team to assist in preparing test plans and testing software according to company guidelines and standards. Your role will involve ensuring high quality and accuracy in software releases, maintaining test plans for automated testing tools, and providing feedback to the development team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing test plans and test scripts - Maintain high quality and accuracy in software releases - Prepare and maintain test plans for automated testing tools - Provide feedback to development team and ensure work is done according to schedule and quality requirements - Provide estimates and feedback to Software Development Manager for project scheduling - Ensure test documentation is in place for each project - Establish and maintain a stable test environment - Produce suitable documentation and quarterly summarized feedback reports - Attend development project meetings, understand scope, and provide realistic timescales for systems testing - Put forward ideas/suggestions to testing team leader - Communicate effectively on all problem issues Qualification Required: - MCA / BE / BTECH / MTECH - Minimum of three years experience as a systems tester - Minimum of two years experience writing formal test documentation - Certificate in Software Testing (from a renowned institute) - Sound knowledge and experience of IT systems - Ability to use technical data manipulation techniques including SQL - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Additional Details: - Salary: INR 4.8 - 5 P.A. - Functional Area: Computer Software / Computer Systems Engineering - Industry: Information Technology - Role: QA Analyst - Employment Type: Permanent - Desired Skills/Attributes: Thorough knowledge of structured test methods, experience with manual and automated testing, testing complex user interfaces, testing using automated tools like QA Run, WinRunner, Selenium, etc., experience with testing Windows/Web/Database applications using .Net, VB, C#, SQL Server, crystal reports, SSRS, commitment to quality and thorough work approach.,
