Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated QA Analyst who will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product features. This role primarily focuses on manual testing , including new features, usability, accessibility, and complex test scenarios. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow into an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) role by learning test automation tools and frameworks. --- Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing & Quality Assurance Design, maintain, and execute manual test cases for functional and regression testing. Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues not captured by formal test cases. Conduct usability and accessibility checks on new and existing features. Work closely with Product Owners and Developers to understand feature requirements and ensure coverage. Collaboration & Communication Log, track, and manage bugs using Jira or similar tools with clear, reproducible steps. Collaborate with developers to triage issues and ensure timely resolutions. Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Test Documentation & Planning Create and maintain test plans, test data, and test documentation. Contribute to creating and refining acceptance criteria and testing charters for exploratory sessions. Automation Readiness & Learning Proactively engage in training and mentorship programs to gain skills in automation testing. Shadow senior SDETs and QA Automation Engineers to understand frameworks and practices. Assist in transitioning selected manual test cases into automation over time. --- Key Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have: 3+ years of experience in manual QA, functional and exploratory testing. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test life cycle, and defect management. Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar. Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills. Proven ability and strong willingness to learn automation tools and practices. Nice-to-Have (or Willing to Learn Quickly): Familiarity with automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium. API testing experience with tools like Postman, REST Assured, Karate, or similar. Exposure to test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, PyTest, or Mocha. Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). Domain knowledge in HR systems or Performance Management platforms.
