Job Description

Job Overview:

The QA Analyst will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to ensure that software products meet quality standards. You will help improve testing processes and ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, or desktop applications.
Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Validate software against requirements and specifications.
Participate in quality assurance process improvements and suggest enhancements.
Document testing procedures, results, and defect reports.
Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a QA Analyst, QA Tester, or similar role.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and test case design.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).
Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
Knowledge of performance testing, API testing, and security testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in cloud environments.
