Job Summary:

Accounts Receivable (AR) Caller

Key Responsibilities:

Call insurance companies to follow up on denial claims submitted.
Review claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and resolve them effectively.
Analyze and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance correspondence.
Take appropriate actions based on the response from payers, including appeals and re-submissions.
Update the billing system with accurate notes and claim status.
Work collaboratively with the billing team and offices to resolve discrepancies.
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

1-3 years of experience as an AR Caller in Physician billing for US healthcare
Excellent communication and negotiation skills (especially over the phone).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
