Job Description

Python developer with a strong understanding of Python libraries and frameworks, Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Good in Python coding Responsibilities and Deliverables: Develop and implement a parameter-driven reporting platform using Python and SQL. Design and build data models and queries to support dynamic report generation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Create and maintain scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Develop and integrate modules to export reports in various formats, including Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF. Ensure the platform is scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports. Provide documentation and training materials for end-users and team members. Work closely with the project manager to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the reporting platform. Technical Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5 of proven experience as a Python developer, with a strong understanding of Python libraries and frameworks. Good communication/presentation skills and excellent stakeholder management Experience in a global organization working with stakeholders in different geographies. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Experience in developing reporting platforms or similar applications. Familiarity with libraries and tools for generating reports in different formats (e.g., Pandas, Matplotlib, ReportLab, XlsxWriter, python-pptx). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a temporary project setting. Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
