Python + FastAPI Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI. Your key responsibilities will include implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures, integrating APIs with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and external services, writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, as well as collaborating with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams. To excel in this role, you should have a strong proficiency in Python (3.7+) and hands-on experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with the intent to switch). Additionally, you should possess a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming (async/await), and WebSockets. Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis is essential. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), along with knowledge of unit testing & API testing frameworks like pytest, unittest, and Postman, will be advantageous. Furthermore, having a good grasp of Git and collaborative development workflows, as well as strong problem-solving and debugging skills, will contribute to your success in this role.
