Python Fast API

As a Lead II- Software Engineering at UST, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions through Python Fast API. With a focus on interface design, documentation, and unit testing, you will collaborate closely with small teams to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Your responsibilities will include architecting technical specifications based on business requirements, crafting clean and maintainable code, and conducting code reviews to uphold quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging applications to enhance performance and user experience. Participation in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, will be essential, along with collaborating with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic seamlessly. Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends will also be a key aspect of your role to continually enhance development practices. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of API development experience using Python, specifically with web frameworks like FastAPI. Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and database management using SQL and/or NoSQL are also required. A strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, containerization, and orchestration tools will further support your responsibilities.
