Job Description

Type: Contract | Duration: 6 Months (extendable based on performance) We are hiring a skilled Python Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, scripting, API integration, and working with large-scale applications. This is a contract-based opportunity for a fast-paced team in Mumbai. #PrimarySkills Strong expertise in Python (6+ years) object-oriented programming, clean code Experience with REST APIs, Flask, or FastAPI Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB Proficiency with version control tools like Git Hands-on experience in writing unit tests, debugging, and performance tuning Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software deployment practices Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure is a plus) Experience with pandas, NumPy, or other data processing libraries (preferred) #Responsibilities Design and build robust backend services using Python Integrate APIs with internal and third-party systems Write reusable, testable, and efficient code Collaborate with frontend teams and DevOps for full-stack integration Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment automation Debug and resolve technical issues in production or staging environments #NiceToHave Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.) Experience with task queues like Celery, or workflow automation Familiarity with data engineering tools or analytics pipelines
