Python Developer Lead

Nano Kernel - Bengaluru Python Django Lead Developer We are looking for a highly experienced 6 to 8 years and passionate Lead Developer with strong expertise in Python, specifically with Django frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing, building, and scaling backend systems and APIs, with deep understanding of system architecture and performance optimization. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python. Strong command over Django frameworks. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Experience designing scalable architecture and building production-grade APIs. Good understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs. Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached), message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and containerization (Docker). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project tracking tools like Jira. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Python (Django). Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and APIs. Work on database modeling, performance tuning, and writing optimized queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Ensure security best practices in handling data, authentication, and session management. Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers. Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define and deliver impactful solutions. Write unit and integration tests and participate in CI/CD pipeline processes. Monitor application performance and debug production issues.
