Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing search pipelines using Elastic search/OpenSearch. Your role will involve implementing tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies to enhance search relevance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and optimize search pipelines using Elastic search/OpenSearch. - Implement tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies for better search relevance. - Develop and maintain scalable APIs for search and related services. - Ensure performance, reliability, and security across the search ecosystem. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate search into products and platforms. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain workloads in AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK). - Apply best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality. - Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize search and backend performance issues. - Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Elastic-search or OpenSearch (Search technologies, schema design, indexing pipelines, query parsing, analyzers, clustering, replication). - Solid backend development skills in Python.
